Tragedy struck this week in Arveda, CO when police mistakenly shot a Good Samaritan who had just shot a gunman who murdered another police officer moments earlier.
If you carry--and decide to intervene--you must remember that there can be any number of outcomes. And just as importantly, you have to think how you will act when law enforcement arrives. Think about it now, because in the heat of the moment, you may be suffering from shock, or auditory exclusion or anything else and you may not respond to law enforcement accordingly. Have a plan.
