Car Jackings and Situational Awareness

The number of car jackings occurring throughout American cities has skyrocketed compared to last year. Situational awareness while getting into and out of your car is a key component to avoid becoming a victim. Of course, if situational awareness fails and you find yourself in this situation, giving up the car is the prudent thing to do--after all, had he wanted to injure or attack you, he would have done it at the outset. For a woman though, better to fight for your life than be taken to a location of your assailant's choosing.
