While the advent of the internet posses its share of problems and can arguably be described as a culprit in the dumbing down of society in general, it also offers fantastic educational resources. One of those fields is in first aid.
Today, we will look at an example of an improvised chest seal. While a bag of chips is great, I like to keep Hyfin Chest Seals in all of my med kits, along with electrical tape, along with Air Release System (ARS) needles which I hope I never have to use but keep in case of a tension pneumothorax event from a gunshot or knife wound to the chest.
