Recently a presidential candidate asked this rhetorical question. Most people who are even remotely familiar with violence understand that is an inherently stupid question. There are a lot of valuable lessons in this clip. Guns jamming (grip?); people with knives intent on killing not stopped by tasers; how many shots fired when under pressure; the value of targeting and the need to get close to stop the threat; the most common knife attack is the "jail house" attack (multiple thrusts up from the waist into the torso); and finally, the need for knowing how to use just your skeleton to switch off another human's brain when all other measures fail. It also highlights what a difficult and dangerous job our law enforcement officers have.
