How will you react in the worst 15 seconds of the worst day of your life?

Updated: Feb 17, 2020

Sociopaths understand violence. They know to strike when you least expect it and when you are the most vulnerable. At home, the ATM machine, or while jogging with headphones--it can happen when you least expect it. And it will happen with overwhelming violence. When violence is visited suddenly upon you, you will experience the survival arc: your mimd will start with disbelief and then move to deliberation about what to do. If you are lucky, you will move to action. This is the phenomenon knows as flee or freeze. What will you do? How best to prepare? Can the average citizen do anything to tip the scales in their favor? The answer is YES. You can take some common sense precautions to enhance your security at home and on the street. After a 34 year career as an Operations Officer in the CIA I've had the benefit of having some of the best training in government. I've learned a great deal (sometimes the hard way) about protection and security. It's my great hope that Guard Well Defense can help you and your family better prepare for the worst case scenario.

One-on-one instruction is available for people in the Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News-Williamsburg-Richmond areas. We hope to have a members only section up soon that will afford training to those beyond the SE VA boundaries. Contact Rob at ram@guardwelldefense.com with your questions. Semper Fidelis and Garde Bien.

Violence can be visited upon us at any time. Let Guard Well help you prepare for the worst 15 seconds of the worst day of your life.
We teach self-defense for women and men to include combatives; basic pistol; blades and improvised weapons; and situational awareness.
